Wealth Management

Discretionary portfolio management, governed by a document you actually get to read

Every wealth management client receives a written Investment Policy Statement before we place a single trade — target allocation, rebalancing bands, and the specific circumstances under which we'd deviate from the plan.

What's inside the portfolio

A typical Vanguard Affiliate wealth management account holds a core-satellite equity sleeve, a laddered fixed-income sleeve, a capped digital asset allocation, and a cash reserve sized to near-term spending needs. Weights are set by your Investment Policy Statement, not by market sentiment.

  • Core-satellite equity construction (broad index core, screened satellite sleeve)
  • Laddered Treasury, corporate, and municipal bond sleeve
  • Digital asset allocation capped at your pre-agreed risk budget
  • Quarterly rebalancing against stated bands, not calendar guesswork
  • Ongoing tax-loss harvesting across taxable accounts

Who this is for

Households with $250,000 or more in investable assets who want one advisor accountable for the whole balance sheet, not a different specialist for every account type.

What it costs

An annual advisory fee billed quarterly, tiered down as assets under management grow. No commissions, no product placement fees.

Process

From first meeting to first rebalance

01

Balance sheet consolidation

We pull every account — retirement, taxable, digital wallets, currency holdings — into a single household view.

02

Investment Policy Statement

We draft and agree on target allocation, rebalancing bands, and risk limits in writing before any trade is placed.

03

Transition & funding

Existing holdings are transitioned in-kind where possible to minimize unnecessary tax events during the switch.

04

Ongoing management

Quarterly rebalancing, tax-loss harvesting, and semi-annual review meetings, with ad hoc access to your advisor.

Discretionary management means Vanguard Affiliate executes trades within the bands set by your Investment Policy Statement without requiring pre-approval for each transaction. You can revoke discretion or amend your policy statement at any time. All investing carries risk, including loss of principal.
